Mike’s Page started in 2005, when the domain was registered by myself, as a personal blog. Originally a Community Server blog hosted on FREEWEBDOT.com, I was forced to move after they stopped offering free hosting due to DDOS attacks, moving onto my next free host, whose name escapes me, which was average aside downtime and plaintext footers breaking HTML validation and XML exportation from certain scripts. I finally moved to a paying host in 2007 with Servelocity. After staying  with them for about a year, I realised that the small amount of RAM the server had would not keep a server running long, and so moved to a dedicated server, courtesy of Centicero. After this event, I decided to keep a blog on Video Games, especially the media’s stance on them.
